Very exciting time at Musical Routes - young people are starting to play, read and compose, Starting from complete beginners, never played instruments before or could read music. Our project is young person led, they lead the facilitators and tell us what they want to do musically.  We have been also working on two group songs and composing a Hiphop piece on Djembes, learning to read rhythm charts, using bass, tones, slaps and touch strokes to achieve the Hi-hat sound. We are also working towards the Bronze arts award.

It is wonderful to see all the Young people developing more confidence personally and in their playing.
