Mobile Music Studio

Youth Music Funded has allowed us to take our Mobile Music Studio out on to the  Streets of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Using music to engage with some of the most hard to reach young people in the city. The young people can attend the mobile studio where our 2 qualified and expereinced music producers teach them how to use a recording studio, edit, mix and produce their music. Alongside the music the young people recieve support form Youth Workers around Education, Employment, Training, Sexual Health and Mental well-being. We use the young peoples preferred genre of Drill music to open up conversations about elements of thoer life they may need support with and also use thier drill pieces to educate other professionals aroung Gang Culture and Violence. During Lockdown we have delivered virtual sessions and rap battles for the young people to join in and are very much looking forward to getting back out to face to face delivery in April.....Fingers and toes crossed.
