Nurturing your Early Years Music Provision

Event description

This in person training event is part of SoundWaves Network SW three-year Youth Music funded programme. Hosted by Take Art in partnership with SoundStorm, the Music Education Hub for Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole.

Led by Take Art’s Early Years Music team Jane Parker with Colin Phillimore, this training will support you to:

  • Gain skills in developing young children’s musicality through appropriate rhymes and simple songs
  • Consider the role of music within all areas of EYFS, particularly communication and personal, social and emotional development.
  • Observe young children’s spontaneous music making and reflect on the role of the adult
  • Gain confidence when engaging in and leading music activities

Closing date midnight Tuesday 23 January 2024.  We are unable to accept late bookings.
