Original Song written by one of our young people about experiences of bullying

This song was written and performed by one of our 13 year old's who attends our Beats, Bars and Banter Youth Music Project at Hill Street Youth Centre in Rugby. This song was written about her experiences of bullying. The project has helped us to highlight key personal issues and we continue to work with the family, the school and key agencies to support this young person, amongst others who need support. Songs like this show how important Youth Music projects are - at not only uncovering local young talent and providing young people with amazing opportunitites, but how these types of projects allow young people to positively express themselves and also uncover key issues, particularly for those young people in the most challenging of circumstances.
