Passport to Music - Hip Hop

Passport to Music is a two-year Youth Music funded project, increasing access for young musicians with inclusive workshops exploring composing, song writing and ensemble playing skills, inspired by working with leading Jazz, Hip-Hop, Folk and World Musicians.

The project, led by People Express, a participatory arts organisation based in South Derbyshire, partners with Baby People, National Jazz Youth Collective, English Folk Dance and Song Society and Milapfest, who each specialise in their own musical genre.

This film explores the work created during the Hip-Hop workshops and captures the thoughts of the young people and music leaders who took part in the project.
