CoMusica Team meetings

Spreading the word, sharing the word and solving a few problems!

Ok so the Xmas break seems a long and distant memory now but in order to get us back into the swing of things, the CoMusica Team at Sage Gateshead had a couple of away days at the beginning of January. Sometimes it is only in the middle of these days that you remember how important they can be for team morale, sharing ideas, planning events, solving problems, making links and identifying progression routes. These days are a mixture of hard work, big conversations, reflection and equally a chance for colleagues just to hang out together ...we had pizza and a treasure hunt!!!

From a CoMusica Inclusion point of view this is also a first step in embedding Fund C practise further across Sage Gateshead's Learning & Participation programme and beyond. We are asking questions like, are there opportunities to perform, who else is doing similar work, what about accreditation and arts award? We are a big team and including delivery practitioners we number over 30+. A number of our musicians work  across other programmes as well as for other music organisations in the region and this enables the learning and information coming out of our team days to spread far and wide.
