Everyday Life as Inspiration

Everything is interesting if you say it with heart.

The confidence to think your own life can be interesting to others is something that the young people we are working with on our Youth Music 'Our House' project are lacking in.

It's not just them.  Most of us don't pick up on the things that make us interesting to others. 

When writing lyrics with one group from a Pupil Reral Unit in Hull we really focused in on the details, Dr Pepper, Brut, Onesies, Snap Chat and XBox controllers became the basis of a song that has real energy about it.

It has this energy because it is real and heart felt.  It's been great fun creating it for all of us
