Learner To Leader: Music Residences

Music Residencies:  Week One & Week Two

One part of our 'Learner To Leader' programme is to deliver Music residencies to 10 - 18 year olds giving them the opportunity to gain and develop music skills using our industry standard equipment and instruments. 

Throughout the week each young person has the opportunity to use and record in our new recording booths - building and creating their own EP working with locally renowned Sound Engineers, Artists and Performers. This gives learners the unique opportunity to see how you can create your own career in the industry you're passionate about, and gives them the exposure to local elf employed artists and businesses.

Embedded in the programme is our Arts Award accreditation which allows our young people to gain a qualification whilst their creating their own tracks. 

Learners have been engaged in all genres of music, and have gained access to instruments that other learners are passionate about playing, allowing them to share skills and be given the chance to pick up instruments they otherwise would have no interest in.
