NYO Piano Auditions

Recruiting teenage pianists to join NYO for the next two years to play orchestral keyboard parts. 

We are recruiting young musicians to join us on residences for the next two years to play orchestral keyboard parts. This is an exciting opportunity for any teenage pianist between the ages of 13-19 to develop their orchestral piano playing through world-class tutoring, exposure to large scale orchestral repertoire, playing in major concert halls across the UK alongside other talented and like-minded young musicians and working with world-class artists at a national level. We are auditioning for various keyboard parts (celeste and piano) for the following residencies: 

            - Spring Residency 2016 (29 March – 12 April): Stravinsky Fireworks, Stravinsky The Firebird (full ballet) 

            - Summer Residency 2016 (25 July – 9 August): Holst The Planets 

            - Winter Residency 2017 (late Dec-early Jan) rep tbc 

            - Spring Residency 2017 (late March-early April) rep tbc 

            - Summer Residency 2017 (late July-early August) rep tbc
