Thanks to Katie Hulme and Amy Parker at Prince Edward Primary in Sheffield for putting together this film which shows Martin Harwood running one of the ‘A Singing Start’ sessions with their early years children.  Over this academic year, Martin Harwood and Luke Carver Goss are delivering exciting high quality, musician facilitated, child-centred group sessions to over 450 children across 16 Early Years settings in the Sheffield South East Learning Partnership. The sessions also involve parents and carers and younger siblings.

The sessions focus on using song, rhythm and rhyme to encourage self confidence, well-being, communication, language and numeracy development, as well as encouraging creative development and interpersonal skills.
