SOFAR Sounds its all about the music! A chance for young acts to play to a small group of music fans who want to listen to the performance in unusual venues.

SOFAR Sounds provides secret intimate music sessions in houses and unusual venues in over 230 cities worldwide. Ipswich is the latest centre and the first session was on Thursday 08 April. How it works is that the date is fixed and then people sign up on the SOFAR Ipswich website to request a place. One day before the event people are notified of the address and you get to know who the three acts who are performing when you arrive. Its all about the music and the audience sits on the floor and listens to the artists, during the breaks you can chat and have a look around. The first session was in the John Russell Gallery in Wherry Lane and it was really successful. We are Music provided support to the evening with sound engineering, video production and event planning.
