Taster courses introducing the basics of working responsibly with children and/or adults for those new to safeguarding or in frontline roles.
For safeguarding to be effective in practice, everyone in your arts , culture or heritage organisation should be aware of the categories and indicators of abuse as well as the process for reporting concerns. By taking this pair of online short courses together, you will leave with a full understanding of the safeguarding principles of working with both children and adults, and how they differ from each other.

Frontline workers such as those in education and outreach teams, front of house roles, volunteers, chaperones and those that come into contact directly with children, young people and/or adults.
