Sounds of Intent: a freely available music framework for those working with children with special needs

'Sounds of Intent' is a new resource for those working with children with special educational needs, and those in the early years. It is available at www.soundsofintent.org  Users can download resources, including music and audio files and workcards. They can view one of hundreds of videos of children in action. And they can assess where their children are at, and show how they are progressing using a freely available online assessment system. Sounds of Intent has had over 2.5 million hits in the last 12 months, and is being used by over 100 schools across the country, by Live Music Now, Jessie's Fund and Drake Music.
