Safeguarding Trustee

Job description

Orchestras for All is looking for a Safeguarding Trustee to join its Board. In this vital role, you will work closely with our management team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment where young people can flourish, support safeguarding policy developments and always ensure best practice.

We are seeking a candidate with substantial experience in supporting teams of young individuals facing a variety of challenges, whether physical, emotional, personal or social. Our ideal candidate will currently be working in a safeguarding leadership role whether that be within a secondary school or a safeguarding lead in an organisation working with vulnerable young people. We’d also welcome experience of working for local authority safeguarding teams or charities.

Location: UK-wide.

Contract: Initial 2-year term, followed by a potential two 3-year terms.
