Singing Together, Growing Together - at Lilian Baylis 17th October

We all love singing, even if totally in private - it makes us feel great.

Even more we get a buzz out of singing together; groups, choirs, choruses, they all lift us out of the everyday and give us moments of thrill and joy.

Across the world there are so many traditions of empowering singing which share exactly that great feeling.

And this force has also powered choirs in the UK who use choral singing for social change, to give disadvantaged and marginalised groups a healing voice.

That's why Pan Intercultural Arts whose Amies Freedom Choir of female survivors of trafficking was funded at its outset by Youth Music, is hosting an evening at the Lilian Baylis Theatre at Sadlers Wells to celebrate and reflect on this.  The Amies Freedom Choir will bejoined by other choirs and videos of even more choirs and participants, choir leaders and psychologists will consider what is going on when we sing!

Come and join us for a joyous and fascinating evening
