The Social Model and Beyond: Reframing Inclusive Music

Thursday, 4 January 2024, 10:00 - 12:00

This online session led by Kris Halpin will explore the Social Model of Disability as a starting point to inform inclusive practice. Building on the Social Model, the session will explore how Disabling barriers can be reframed through a shift in thinking. As well as practical steps to make music making more inclusive, the session will also explore allyship and how we can better understand the Disabled experience.
