Soundcamp 2020 - Artist Announcement

Introducing the artists that have been on our mentoring and artist development programme…

Sutty is a multi-talented artist, from singing and songwriting, beat making and a flautist to boot, who’s distinct voice has accompanied a variety of sounds and projects as well as her own.

A South Manchester stalwart, Inka’s presence as a DJ and Producer in the underground scene will be known to those about it, or anyone who’s heard his waved out productions and DJ sets

KUPI as a project may be newly formed, but don’t be fooled, they are far from inexperienced in the field of sound experimentation - so expect to be taken places.

Queen Tamika is an all encompassing creative spirit, channeling her heritage and experience to create powerful and nourishing music.

Sarah Angel has a particular presence as a performer and songwriter is informed by her deep understanding of visual artistry, that has very much captured the attention of the Manchester scene and beyond.

Skarlet stand's out with a unique musical and artistic perspective, blending of electronic sounds, folk and jazz, to compliment her rich voice

King takes inspiration not only from her French upbringings but the great tradition of genre-fluidity, on a quest of sonic expansion with the trait of being experimentally audacious.

Trees.R.Good, an undeniable statement, backed by an undeniable sense of groove and energy that roots the multi-instrumentalist output of the Brussel's raised, Manchester based artist, who admirably seeks to branch message with music.

Babyflxcko brings a particular weight to contemporary hip-hop sounds, using inspiration and her upbringing in Soul, Jazz and R&B, to take her music forward.

SIBZ comes in hot, with a strong alternative vision of rap, presenting psychedelic self-produced sounds and an emotive approach to performance.

Yelena Lashimba brings together an enchanting blend of afro-soul and samba with her charismatic flow, that she punctuates with meaning and expression of her womanhood to inspire change.

Joe Roche as a DJ & Producer has carved out a distinct presentation of the underground dance music sound, which as of late is a feat in itself, but can be chalked down to his appreciation of it's roots whilst maintaining fluidity.
