Soundcamp 2020 - Mentor Announcement
Introducing our lead facilitators and mentors for Soundcamp 2020, our artist development and mentoring programme, funded by Youth Music and delivered in partnership with Thirty Pound Gentleman. Starting from 23rd November, leading the project we will have:
Danny Fahey is a creative professional who has been in the fabric of urban culture for more than two decades, and as the figure head of Thirty Pound Gentleman focuses on empowering youth through music, fashion, sport, and discussion about where and how all of those things intersect.
Jenna G, often hailed as the queen of Drum & Bass, the singer-songwriter's powerful voice has permeated throughout UKs bass music culture and well beyond.
Tom Leah aka Werkha is a recording artist, multi-instrumentalist and DJ who specialises in studio composition, who alongside releasing his own music commercially, has produced two studio albums for other artists and has been an active music leader and facilitator for over 7 years.
Anna Mcluckie, a singer, harpist, teacher & facilitator in Manchester, who has appeared on festival lineups at Glastonbury, Shambala, Greenman & Wilderness across various projects such as her leading indie four piece @Divingstationmusic.
Adam Seymour aka SEYK, a co-founder of RiteTrax, a community-rooted creative/arts platform specialising in events and provides artistic and personal development opportunities for young people and vulnerable adults through music driven outreach projects in Sheffield. They have curated countless events over the past 5 years including grassroots gigs and club nights at their venue @plot22sheffield as well as festivals, live streams and events across the north of England and internationally.
Through their expert guidance and knowledge, participants will get a chance to be shown the ropes to the various aspects of music industry and business and the most promising talents will be chosen by them to join the mentorship programme.
