Soundscape Landscape: The Carousel House Band and studio artists from Project Artworks collaborate

Although initially disrupted by the pandemic our work concluded with a larger scale studio experiment. We created a pallete of sounds from percussion instruments and electronic sound devices. The Project Artworks studio artists and faciltators engaged in a day of experimentation, we combined sounds with sensor triggers to create a live visual soundscape.

Soundscape Landscape has been a really interesting project that has not only seen the Carousel House Band co-produce and deliver a well received CPD workshop for staff of a NPO arts organisation but has also seen a number of subtle exchanges between the studio artists with complex support needs and the band. Sound making and painting were explored together and a dynamic creative environment was created by all
