Summer activities at Brighton Youth Centre for 13-19 year olds

Beginner guitar - 5th and 6th August (4pm-5:30)

In this 2 day workshop we will work within a group to learn some beginner guitar techniques. If you’re a complete beginner guitarist who wants to learn then this free session is your chance to try out guitar for the first time.

Beginner vocals - 5th and 6th August (4pm-5:30pm)

In this 2 day workshop we will work within a group to learn and develop some new vocal techniques and skills. Beginner vocalists will get the opportunity to try and learn some new singing skills.

Busking workshop - 7th and 8th August (2pm-5pm)

If you’re a performer who is interested in doing some busking, whether you are experienced in performing or not, then this is your opportunity to learn some busking skills. This free session will give you some tips and advice on how to busk and how to perform.

Recording workshop - 26th to 28th July (12:30pm-4pm)

This free workshop held over 3 days is an opportunity to learn how to record a whole band using limited equipment. We will learn important and useful skills that you will then be able to use yourself to record your own demos and then mix them.

Songwriting workshop - 2nd to 4th August (3:30-5:30 on 2nd and 3rd, 3:30-6:30 on 4th)
