Support for Yorkshire-based emerging artists & industry professionals

Launchpad support for emerging artists and industry professionals / new music enterprises is now open to artists throughout Yorkshire. In addition, PRS Foundation is also introducing their PPL Momentum Accelerator and PPL Momentum Fund to artists in the region.

Established in 2019 initially for artists based in West Yorkshire artists, Launchpad has supported over 60 bands, musicians, producers and solo artists to date - with support from Youth Music and using public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England, PRS Foundation's Talent Development Partnership, Leeds 2023 and arts@leeds. The program is now open to all emerging artists and emerging professionals / new music enterprises across Yorkshire to apply for support. Launchpad offers a combination of funded project and recording support, live opportunities and one to one mentoring and industry guidance.

Thanks to addional funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England, PRS Foundation will also launch the PPL Momentum Accelerator Fund for Yorkshire artists, offering support of up to £5,000 to four artists and ringfencing at least two full PPL Momentum Music Fund grants of up to £15,000 to artists based in Yorkshire.
