Top tips for lyric writing/poetry etc

This is a link to a video of some top tips for lyric writing/poetry etc. We have created this to make it easier for our young people to write their own original somgs/raps/poetry and to also put together a group song that we are currently working on in our weekly Zoom sessions.

A couple of weeks ago on an online session we were talking about using books to help with lyrics - it could be that there is a thesaurus kicking around the house somewhere. I was in school in the 1980's, and we all had to have a dictionary and a thesaurus for our English lessons. You might even have a rhyming dictionary somewhere...
