I am Director of Development for Milapfest, the UK's Indian Arts Development Trust, and run our national youth orchestra - Samyo. This orchestra, founded in 2002, recruits, trains and showcases young musicians trained in Indian classical music, presenting a contemporary and modern approach to Indian music, in a brand new orchestral format. 

One of my passions is to help young people to access and move through the career pathway for Indian music, helping them to gain confidence, skills, experiences and enjoyment that changes their lives. Our parent organisation, Milapfest, produces performances, education programmes and artistic development in Indian Music & dance, to help inspire people through the practice and experience of Indian arts performance. 

Milapfest & Samyo are available to help share Indian music with people of all backgrounds, and we already partner with organisations to deliver performance and education work, but welcome opportunities to reach more talented and disadvantaged young people.
