About

I'm a musician - guitarist, singer-songwriter, pianist and attempting to master the accordion. I live and work mainly in the Leicester area and as a self-employed creative person get involved in a wide variety of work.

My life as a creative practitioner really got kick started upon joining the Sing Up Beyond the Mainstream project in Leicester four years ago and I'm now part of Bullfrog Arts - working as our company manager and heavily involved in  delivering two strands of our Youth Music funded project: Every Song Matters.

I teach privately, run a guitar club for youngsters in Clarendon Park, have started leading group sessions at a local inner-city primary school and also perform regularly in our jazz band Accidental Jazz and as a solo artist under the nom-de-plume: Becca O'Hara.

And when none of that's happening I'm busy practicing my instruments, writing songs, organising concerts, gigs and taking the odd deep breathe.
