About

Emma is an experienced music educator, performer, teacher and facilitator having worked in creative education for the past 12 years. Emma has led education projects across the UK, in Finland and Tanzania working in primary, secondary and special schools and in adult education. In her current role as Learning & Partnerships Manager for Brighton & Hove Music & Arts, Emma works with partners from the creative, cultural, education and health sectors to facilitate new opportunities in music for children and young people, with a particular focus on increasing engagement and supporting progression for those in challenging circumstances and/or with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities. Emma is also Deputy Director of Our Future City, the Local Cultural Education Partnership in Brighton & Hove and leads the #BeWell programme, co-developing and producing creative, cultural experiences that are designed to enhance wellbeing.

Emma is also Programme Manager of two current Youth Music-funded programmes: Our Future City Early Years Music (Brighton & Hove Music & Arts) and Our Future Music (Southern Music Hub Alliance).
