The Studio is based in Widnes, WA8 7SQ. It is owned and run by LOOSE with and for the community as a Music, Theatre and Arts Centre.
As a Music Collective LOOSE started working with young people in music around 1997; we have since become a Non-profit Company LBG (6566823), and a Registered Charity (1153066).
We are still seeing the need for, and the benefits of young people being supported and inspired to make music. As time goes on there seems to be more need, and less local resources; more stress and mental health issues, and increasingly less support available. Over the years as the young people got older and moved on, they have given additional confirmation of how being involved with The Studio benefitted them, the positive impact, with the perspective of looking back. And as young people develop and move on, there are always more young people to take their place...
