Louise Taylor-Flo
About
I am a pfreelance project manager with eleven years experience in the North East cultural and creative sector, producing and managing a range of projects including community engagement, work with young people, arts and health, cultural exchanges, CPD provision, and event management for a variety of organisations including The Sage Gateshead, Sing Up!, Sangini and Music in the Minster.
I am also a practising musician with an MMus in Ethnomusicology from the School of Oriental African Studies, and a specialsim in Klezmer music, traditional instrumental music of Ashkenazi Eastern European Jews. I teach violin and viola, lead instrumental workshops in Klezmer and have performed across the country with alternative pop band ‘Sharks Took The Rest’, including the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury 2011.
