About
I am a committed, passionate and skilled arts professional with over eight years experience working in live and participatory arts (with a specialism in music), creative learning, and the strategic development of innovative arts and cultural programmes. Throughout my career I have gained a diverse base of knowledge and expertise from working for organisations that are inspirational and innovative in the sector.
I utilise this experience to instigate and manage a range of dynamic, integrated and stimulating arts community and education projects, specifically in the field of music.
Areas of Expertise: * Extensive management of Arts & Cultural Projects * Developing Strategies that feed into Business Plans * Developing Policy * Delivering Strategies * Management of artists and volunteers * Event Management, including large outdoor festivals * Budget Management * Developing focussed and reflective CPD Programmes * Experience of Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting * Fundraising and writing bids to large grant distributors, trusts and foundations * Maintenance of website and social media platforms * Developing and strengthening partnerships * Identifying and addressing need * Marketing
I believe that high quality arts experiences are an extremely powerful tool for exploring issues, ideas and building confidence in young people and inspiring young minds to be creative. This is something that I am extremely passionate about, and this shines through my professional work across all projects.
I am very methodical in my approach to completing grant applications, and have a good understanding of what is expected. I have developed strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring continued future funding and positive dialogue with partners.
I am diplomatic in my approach to all tasks and when communicating with partners, participants, artists and colleagues to deliver projects.
