Wash Your Hands!

Today we discussed the importance of why, how and when we wash our hands. We practised the correct hand washing routine then performed our actions to the song ‘Wash Your Hands’ from Boogie Mites. The children enjoyed singing the chorus and dancing to this upbeat, catchy salsa melody. It is certainly one of those songs that makes you want to dance.

We made ‘glugging’, ‘swishy, washy’ vocal sounds to add to the song and had fun with the parachute - ‘swishing’ and ‘swashing’ it up and down in time to the music. The children created a vocal sound story, sequencing their sound effects and performed it to a visiting parent.

‘Wash Your Hands’ is now my new 20 second song to sing whilst washing my hands! I am certain the children will be singing it too.
