Youth Music Awards in association with Hal Leonard Europe
As part of Youth Music's 20th Anniversary year, we're really excited to announce the first ever Youth Music Awards. The Youth Music Awards are presented in association with Hal Leonard Europe, which is part of Hal Leonard, the world’s largest publisher and distributor of printed music and educational resources. The Awards will take place on Wednesday 16 October in the beautiful Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre in London.
The Youth Music Awards will celebrate the achievements of young people who are making music all over the country, in every genre, every day. The awards will also recognise the organisations and music leaders working tirelessly on the frontline helping young people to achieve their personal, social and musical goals.
We would love to invite you to apply for the Youth Music Awards. It’s free to enter and open to anyone involved in a project currently funded by Youth Music and within the last five years. You can nominate your organisation, a young person, music leader (including yourself!) or volunteer working with you to go the extra mile and make a difference.
Awards include: Music Producer Award, Music Video Award, Lyricist Award, Live Performance Award, Original Track Award, Outstanding Act Award, Innovation Award, Social Action Award (sponsored by Hal Leonard Europe), Entrepreneur Award, Inspirational Leader, Young Leader and Breakthrough Award.
We have an amazing line-up of judges and some serious money-can’t-buy experiences as prizes for award winners. The music awards will be judged by a panel of music industry figures from 1Xtra, YouTube Music, Capitol Records, Columbia Records, Virgin EMI, Live Nation, Black Butter, Vice Media, Ninja Tunes, Amazon Music UK and many more.
Nomination forms for all awards are open now, and will close at 10am on Monday 5 August 2019. The winners will be announced at the Youth Music Awards.
