Going Off on One!
This is our new rap-metal track, Going Off On One! We ran a Youth-Music funded workshop for young people who have learning disabilities on April 19th 2017, and this is the film created from the day. Participants had fun learning the Deftones inspired guitar riffs, playing the drum in military style, rehearsing screamo, discussing what made them angry, working on their own lyrics and flow - and of course as you will see from the video there was lots and lots of dancing!
This is the fourth of our Hip Hop Shake Up videos, all featuring rappers who have learning disabilities. This one was conceived by staff member Neil Card who also directed and produced the video. Tang Hall SMART CIC delivers three Inclusive Provisions as part of its weekly delivery, and also hosts one-off workshops like this one, designed to reach a wider cohort,
