Hybrid Arts

About

Timothy Ellis is founder of Hybrid Arts.

We create hybrid curricula and offer them to schools and colleges across our region. Over half of our clients study music progressing through Arts Awards Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Our Directors and staff are practicing artists, a mix of digital immigrants and natives.

My first Youth Music funded project 'Jam Station' was in 2000 and helped to form the model that was to become Hybrid Arts in 2003. During this development period Ellis set up several other community based music studio's including Daventry TES, Towcester Coffee House, Southam Youth Club, Leamington African Carribean Centre, Racing Club Warwick and The Westbury Centre Leamington Spa.

Hybrid Arts continue to offer services to vulnerable young people on a day release system from schools and PRU's. Although the company was founded around music provision we also provide training in film production, animation, graphics, fashion and fabric design and outdoor environmental practices.
