Emotional Wellbeing and Regulation Training

Event description

Supporting emotional wellbeing and regulation for people with Severe and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities.

In this session we will be exploring the nature of emotions and how we can recognise and meet the emotional well-being needs of people who use means other than words to communicate. We will develop an understanding of regulation and how identifying states of regulation in others can guide us in offering supportive and nurturing approaches. You will be provided with tips and tools to take away to use in your practice.
