Sigrun Saevarsdottir-Griffiths has led a successful freelance career as a leader of creative and collaborative music projects in a vast range of community contexts for various arts and higher education organisations across England, Europe and Asia, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, City of London Sinfonia, English National Ballet, Bath International Music Festival, BBC, ITV, Tokyo Collage of Music, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (Singapore), Casa da Musica (Portugal), European Music Council and Reykjavik Arts Festival.

Since 2008 Sigrun has been the Programme Leader for the Leadership Course at the Guildhall School, where she also lectures and tutors on other courses within the Music Department as well as within the Acting and Technical Theatre Courses. Sigrun is a multi-instrumentalist (trombone, piano, percussion, voice) who has a particular expertise in facilitating collaborative music making within specialist arts environments as well as community facing contexts.

Food Tasty food will be provided and is included in the cost of the course. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is available but other dietary needs should be specified in advance.
