They will guide everyone through the implications of the National Curriculum, the strands of singing, performing, improvising, composing, listening and evaluating, with technology threaded throughout. The activities explored during the course will be accessible and non-threatening, demonstrating practically the many ways in which music forges links with other subjects and supports learning across all aspects of school life.
This course is suitable for all those involved in teaching music in primary schools, from generalist teachers and freelance community musicians to teacher trainees and people who are considering a career in teaching.
