Women in Music Network
Event description
As part of More Music’s workforce development series, the ‘Women in Music’ network has been developed to provide a forum for female music leaders to share experiences, opportunities and best practice and also as an opportunity to strengthen our links with female music leaders from across the North West .
The aim of this first meeting is to establish the network, explore people’s experiences as music leaders and identify expectations for future meetings.
Other areas of interest for future meetings include identifying training needs and opportunities, exploring the issues and challenges faced by female music leaders and removing barriers to participation for young women in music.
