I Can Play Gamelan - and so can you!

Earlier this year we posted our first informative video, introducing the instruments of the Javanese gamelan at the University of York. In this latest film, you can learn a bit more about the music and even join in, wherever you are!

This film was created as part of the Sound Of Bronze programme run by the Department of Music at the University of York, supported by funding from Youth Music. Sound Of Bronze works to improve access to the University's set of Javanese gamelan instruments, and to develop the musical skills and confidence of the young people in our local community.
