What if Every Child Could Fly in Lincolnshire?

Imagine a better world, where every young life is rich in play, creativity and culture. Where children and young people are using their creativity to realise their rights, reach their potential and make a difference. Where communities of children, young people and adults are combining their infinite human resources to help every child to fly.

Join soundLINCS, The Mighty Creatives and LOV at Lincoln Drill Hall on Monday 14 December to be part of the conversation to help make this world a reality; with the Lincolnshire Launch Event of ‘What if Every Child Could Fly: A Blueprint for a Better World’.

The Blueprint was produced through a series of open source summits in 2013 to 2014 led by The Mighty Creatives and a national advisory board including the British Heart Foundation, Teach First and the University of the First Age, alongside regional cultural partners including soundLINCS, Galleries of Justice, New Art Exchange and Dance4.

The Blueprint advocates for joined up approaches to providing cultural education for children and young people, ensuring there are strategic approaches to working with children across their life course (from birth to adulthood) and across their many different cultural contexts (their families, their communities, their schools, faith settings and digital worlds).

The event is aimed at all of us who are passionate about the positive power of Arts and Culture for children and young people and will be an engaging and compelling conversation presented by Richard Clark (CEO of The Mighty Creatives), asking the question ‘How do we help Every child to fly in Lincolnshire?’ Registration and coffee opens from 9.00am with the event due to finish at 12.30pm.
