Making a Youth Voice Strategy

This session will be led by Jennifer Raven, Deputy Director & Liz Coomb, Programme Manager.
Two of the main questions we’re asked at Sound Connections are how do we ‘do’ youth voice and how do we evidence it? These are great questions that don’t have one definitive answer – as it’s different for every setting depending on what you do and the young people you work with.
In this session we will introduce the key starting points, tools, and pillars for developing a Youth Voice & Participation Strategy, and an action plan that you can measure your strategy against. You will complete the session feeling better equipped to create a plan tailored to the needs of your organisation and to develop Youth Voice activities in a manageable way, whatever your starting point.
