"Best song ever"

When we wrote the songs for Can Do Music we knew that the material was not conventional. We were searching for sounds and rhythms that would engage young children but also for music that would engage adults involved; in the classroom and at home. The research is clear. If the adults are not comfortable then the kids won't be.

To be honest sometimes we wavered. Would something that sounds multi-layered and even "in your face" work. It turns out that multi-layering is not a problem. There just has to be one accessible layer (yes in the front of the mix) and everyone in the room can feel good.
