Grand Union Summer School Success
Grand Union held it's 3rd Annual Residential Summer School this year offering young people the chance to learn about musical cultures and styles that they may not have experienced or have had the chance to explore in any depth before. We welcomed young musicians of secondary school age up to 21 interested in learning about music from other parts of the world and/or who played a non-European instrument such as sitar and erhu. Grand Union Summer School's result in some unique combinations and compositions led by professional musicians from major musical traditions worldwide.
