About
WILD work with young mums aged 19 and under (and up to 23 years - with additional needs) and their children aged 0-3 years across all of Cornwall. WILD aims to provide young mothers and their children with opportunities to develop their skills, improve self-esteem, make positive and healthy choices, protect themselves, participate as equal members of their communities and achieve their potential.
I trained for 3 years at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and after working professionally for 15 years in theatre, film, radio and television, I travelled to Costa Rica and Nicaragua to work as an artist in residence for the charity Raleigh International working on water projects and community infrastructure projects in developing villages.
I am an Associate Artist for cube theatre company and Dreadnought Southwest, and after a successful year working with WILD as their Music Worker, I am looking forward to another 3 years of music work with them thanks to a grant from Youth Music.
