Hello, my name is Claire and I am an intern for Guerilla Science, an organization that works to connect people to science in new ways by creating events and installations that are meant to inspire, challenge and amaze at festivals, museums, and other cultural partners. Our latest project is called the Fire Organ, an instrument that is a mutant offspring of the Rubens’ tube and a traditional pipe organ that converts sound waves into flames.
We’re currently looking for DJs, musicians, rappers, spoken word artists, or any sort of audiophile to submit tracks to be played on our Fire Organ at Secret Garden Party festival. Our panel of judges includes the music editor for iD magazine, and if selected, the artist will win two tickets to the festival where their track will be played on the Fire Organ.
