Since studying music technology at Northbrook College in 2001 I have worked for a variety of youth music organisations including the East Sussex Youth Development Service and Starfish music project based in Lewes, Sussex. For several years I was a music and media tutor for DV8 training sussex, delivering courses in music / media technology.
I have also gained musical experience playing guitar and drums in various bands over the last twenty years. Since 2004 I have toured extensively making festival, TV and radio appearances as a band member of the Mercury Prize nominated band 'The Go! Team'

Current projects also include 'CUZ' a band i have formed with Mike Watt (the stooges / the minutemen) BBC 6 music dj's Marc Riley and Gideon Coe have been particularly supportive, in 2014 CUZ were featured on Marc Riley's best in show programme at the end of 2014.

I am also a member of the Daniel Wakeford Experience band, supporting Daniel who identifies as being Autistic to bring his charismatic songs to the stage. We have played a number of gigs and recorded a studio album. Highlights include a nationwide O2 academy tour and music festival appearances. Daniel is well known as one of the stars of Channel 4's Undateables TV show.
Between 2012-2021 i worked as the band producer for The Carousel House Band which is a music project for learning disabled musicians. Co-designing projects, facilitating recording commissions, performing and collaborating with a variety of musicians. Carousel is an awards winning charity, who for over thirty years have supported people with a learning disability to achieve their artistic ambitions. The Carousel House Band has been nominated for the 2021 Youth Music Outstanding Project Award
Until 2019 i worked for Rhythmix as a freelance outreach music tutor delivering music workshops for their Music In Mind programme.
Music in Mind was Rhythmix's innovative music making programme for young people with mental health challenges. It used music making to enhance life chances and offers help to young people aged 11 to 25 years with mental health needs. Music in Mind gave these young people an opportunity to gain real vocational skills and have a positive creative outlet through music making opportunities.

I also work as a musician in healthcare
Working in partnership with a number of NHS trusts and charities across the South East, bringing live interactive Music for Wellbeing into hospitals and hospices. I aim to enrich healthcare settings with live music interactions, supporting wellbeing through a shared musical experience
Since Rhythmix dissolved I have co-founded a new community interest company called Lifesize to be able to continue delivering projects such as those above that provide music for well being opportunities to vulnerable and often overlooked parts of the community
