Scary Little Girls

In September 1981, 36 women chained themselves to the RAF Greenham Common base fence in protest against the Americans holding cruise missiles on common land. This marked the beginning of a 19 year protest at Greenham Common. Scary Little Girls have interviewed 100 Greenham Women about their experiences and are delighted to have received funding from Youth Music to explore these interviews further. We will be running 40 music and drama workshops with women and girls in Cornwall focusing on assertiveness, action and rebellion!
