Young people interview local artist as part of their ASDAN qualification

Young people who attend the Youth Music funded programme Boom Box interviewed a local artisit Tom about his career in the arts.

It was organised to support the young people to complete their ASDAN short course qualification, which encourages young people to explore different areas of work for people in the arts sector. The questions created by the young people varied from "what inspried you to work in the arts" to "what does your day to day look like" with Tom giving an honest and in depth insight to the challenges and rewards he has faced as life as an artist.

GMYN creates opportunities so that disadvantaged young people from across Greater Manchester can take steps towards a positive future. Boom Box is delivered in partnership with Memody CIC, a company that offers children and young people the chance to write and record songs with professional tutors.
