Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) is a registered charity (reg no. 1151897). We work to enable young people and organisations to participate, develop and achieve. We aim to do this by offering a variety of activities that will engage and empower young people and by capacity building the organisations that work with them. GMYN are currently delivering Boom Box, a new 12-month music production project to reduce the social isolation and increase the confidence and self-esteem of care experienced young people across Greater Manchester. Funded by Youth Music, the project will provide opportunities for looked-after children and care-leavers to create their own songs and music videos in a brand new studio, on site at GMYN in Ardwick.
