Musical Babies with Colwyn Trevarthen & Sandra Kerr

For anyone working with babies, this CPD was a must. Did you miss it? No worries, as all resources are available online.

Wow, what a great day we had with Colwyn Trevarthen and Sandra Kerr last Thursday at Musical Babies CPD Day.  Thanks to both for such great input and enthusiasm.

In the morning, Colwyn presented some of his work on Communicative Musicality, which shows just how musically competent babies are from birth. Colwyn helped us to see that it is often the baby who takes the lead in all of the songs and exchanges with their care-givers.

In the afternoon, Sandra Kerr taught us lots of brilliant songs to sing with our musical babies. Her manner was so engaging and positive, we were all inspired to join in and have a go.
